Delete Your Account

Kiddlewood is published by Tosemum Holdings LLC. This page explains how to delete your Kiddlewood account or specific data, what is removed, and what is retained.

Delete your account in the app

You can delete your Kiddlewood account yourself at any time. No email or approval is needed:

1. Open the Kiddlewood app and sign in.
2. Parents: go to the Profile tab and tap the settings icon (top right). Businesses: go to your Dashboard and tap the sliders icon, then Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes from the live service:

• Your profile and login credentials;
• All information about your family, including your children's names and age ranges;
• Your photos (profile photo, and business logo if applicable);
• Your posted playdates, activities, and alerts;
• Your connections and conversations.

A deleted account cannot be recovered or signed into again.

What is retained, and for how long

• Billing records for Business subscriptions are kept by us and our payment processor (Stripe) as required for tax and accounting law.
• Safety-report records connected to child-safety reports are preserved where United States federal law (18 U.S.C. §2258A) requires it — currently one year — even if the associated account is deleted.
• Routine backups may hold residual copies briefly; these cycle out automatically on a limited schedule.

Delete specific data without closing your account

You can also remove individual pieces of data at any time, in the app:

• Children's information: Profile → Edit Profile → remove any child. This deletes their name and age range.
• Profile details: edit or clear your bio, interests, and photo in Edit Profile.
• Posted content: delete your own playdates, activities, and alerts from their detail screens.
